The Opti-charge before surgery was tolerable. I ordered the chocolate Opti-fuel and it was difficult to drink. I didn't like the taste or the smell. It was hard to get the powder thoroughly mixed no matter how much I shook & stirred there was still lumps. I plan to give the remaining packets to my great doctor.

I couldn’t finish it because of nausea. I was able to do it before surgery but 4 days after I had to stop

It tastes good. for the price I paid for a 1 month supply I really did not get 1 months of Optifuel, I was short of 30 packets 27 I think and I received 3 packets of Opticharge but only needed one for the day before surgery. The other issue is the packets. Its impossible for a person who can only use one hand [I had shoulder surgery] to get all of the powder out of the packet and into the container without spilling some. Then have to scrape it off the counter into the glass, Would be much better to have the whole batch in a container and scoop the required amount into the shaker bottle. And some powder always cakes up under the lid where it pours out. It's working but the design could be much better and Id like a few more packets for free because I paid for 1 month supply and received 3.5 weeks.

Had a few questions regarding the product and customer service was excellent. Taste is subjective but I enjoyed how this doesn’t taste “fake”. I make a morning smoothie with the powder and feel energized throughout the day without a midday “crash”. Really impressed with how this change to mail diet / daily routine makes me feel. The chocolate is best in a smoothie or with a milk product over water.

Wow.. this is my second shoulder surgery this year and the second time around I’m glad I started taking this product. These ingredients are way better than what I’ve seen out there.. or been recommended in the past like ensure.. I didn’t realize how important Leucine and Glutamine were for my recovery until I started taking something like this that includes those ingredients.
