I’m surprised by the reviews that say it doesn’t taste great. I ordered the vanilla and I think it’s better than other protein powders I’ve tried in the past- and it’s MUCH lower in sugar/ higher in vitamins. I guess if you have never had protein powder or supplements before you may not know what to expect? I had a large reconstructive surgery and I’ve felt so much better than expected during recovery. I have a ton of energy and believe it’s due to these supplements in my daily smoothie.

I got this for help with knee replacement surgery. The taste is like chalky cardboard. There are lots of other better tasting, more affordable options out there with these ingredients.

At the recommendation of my surgeon, Dr. Patrick Denard, I purchased 1 month Complete Surgical Nutrition which I split between pre and post surgery. I really liked taking it, I felt it was helping me prepare for and later recover from shoulder surgery in a surprising, complete and very easy way. I even liked the taste (Vanilla). I only wish the envelopes of OptiCharge were a completely different color, I didn't even notice they were different! I must have consumed them somewhere along the journey not realizing I was to supposed to save them to take right before surgery. I'm sure I could have been more attentive, but getting ready for surgery is a little distracting.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try this product, and I’m very glad I did. In November of 2024 I had a complete shoulder replacement. I took Complete Surgical Nutrition. Very tasty. I have never felt so good after surgery. And I noticed my recovery time was a lot smoother and faster. I will definitely use Complete Surgical Nutrition if and when I have my next Surgery. I highly recommend recommend this product

I can’t believe how bad it tastes. I’ve tried doctoring with ice cream ( Dr suggestion). I would never buy again no matter what. Sorry
