is the Director of Sports Medicine and Joint Preservation and Vice Chair of Research in Chicago, IL. He is an Adjunct Professor of Sports Medicine and Hip Preservation at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is also a consultant for the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), and an NFL team orthopedic physician for the Chicago Bears. He has served as the Head Orthopedic Team Physician for University of Michigan Athletics, and was the former Head Orthopedic Team Physician and Medical Director for the Detroit Lions. Dr. Bedi has authored over 400 articles, chapters, and peer-reviewed publications on injuries in athletes, and has won numerous prestigious awards in the field.
